Yes. On iPhone XS, XR, 11, 12, 13, and newer, you will see an 'Unknown Part' message in Settings. This is Apple's way of locking parts to the device. It does NOT mean the battery is bad; it just means the serial number doesn't match the motherboard.

Does this message affect how my iPhone works?

Absolutely not. The message is purely cosmetic. Your iPhone will function perfectly, hold a charge just like a new one, and perform at peak speed. The only downside is that you won't see the battery health percentage in settings.

Is the battery quality worse than in Premium?

No. We use battery cells with the same capacity and durability as the original ones. The only difference is the lack of the original controller chip. You get excellent battery life for a lower price.

How can I check the battery health if settings don't show it?

Since the settings won't display the percentage, you can use PC software like 3uTools or CoconutBattery to read the real capacity and cycle count of the new battery.
