iPad shows the charging icon but battery percentage doesn't go up. Why?
This is a classic symptom of a failed Tristar/Hydra chip. This chip communicates with the charger. If it fails, the iPad 'thinks' it's charging, but the battery receives no power. We replace this chip to fix the issue.
